Celebrating Halloween in Mauritius

When we speak of Halloween, we always refer to fall things such as ; falling leaves/pumpkins/jack-o-lanterns etc. But what does celebrating Halloween in Mauritius really means ? no. 1 The season is different : for e.g celebrating Halloween in the US or France is very different from celebrating it in Mauritius. In these particular countries, the season (and preferred season to celebrate halloween is Fall) whereas in MU it's literally S U M M E R ! And trust me it's very uncomfortable having a Halloween costume in a 39 degree heat on the streets. No.2 The infatuation is not actually the same duh.
